ARI Mega Basket - filtration solutions for contaminated water

Remove waste, and sediment, from contaminated bodies of water with the ARI Mega Basket – the world’s first high flow to fine particle capture filtration technology.

Ideally suited for dewatering in mines, tunnels and other large scale construction sites.

Specifications for ARI-HFPF-63:

  • The Mega Basket is a 1 cubic metre, 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel basket that has an ARI filtration ‘insert’ that sits neatly in the basket.
  • The initial clean flow rate through the Mega Basket is 16,000 litres per minute per square metre*.
  • Capturing particulates down to 63µm (1/8th the size of a grain of sand).
  • Designed with a ‘centre’ in the material meaning you can ‘reverse flush’ and reuse in most applications.
  • The Mega Basket comes in two models, the standard which includes lifting lugs and forklift tines and then the Mining Mega Basket which is stronger and can be rotated on a forklift with a rotating head to be emptied.
  • Replacement inserts are available for Mega Baskets and MKS can provide a racking system for inserts meaning the dirty insert is placed on the frame making reverse flushing of the inserts easy.
* Flow rates are subject to the type of application, which can affect the ARI filter materials efficiency. Superfine particulates will typically slow the flow rates. In these applications, flocculants can be added to neutralise surface charges on particles to bind them and increase their size, allowing the ARI material to achieve higher flow rates.
